Maybe the biggest detail is that the battle royale mode will be F2P. Much like popular games, you won't require to purchase the main title to join in. Even though I considered myself a critic previously, I'm fully supportive of the battle royale now that I've experienced it.

Still, early signs are strong that the battle royale could be a true competitor to leading titles. Some are hoping that the top weapons from the base title will also apply in the BR.
