Both Deceased Students Revealed in the Providence Campus Incident as Police Continue Search for Perpetrator.

The pair of scholars who died in Saturday’s mass shooting on the university campus were being remembered Monday – amid a widespread hunt for their killer persisted following the release by authorities in Rhode Island of the single suspect of interest in the case.

Remembering Ella Cook

The student Ella Cook, a second-year student from Alabama, was called “a wonderful, steady, devout, shining presence”, per the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Birmingham, which honored her memory at a service on Sunday.

His name was confirmed by the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“He possessed remarkable kindness, humor, and intelligence. He had big dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon and aiding others,” his sister, Samira Umurzokova said in a memorial statement.

Nine more persons were wounded in the violent event in the school of engineering of Brown’s university in Providence, during the university's examination week.

Officials stated late Sunday that a 24-year-man arrested in a raid at a Hampton Inn about around 27 kilometers from the university earlier in the day was being released.
