That Gory Cartoon Movie Ending That Haunts Audiences

Out of all the mature cartoon movies I’ve ever viewed, nothing has stuck with me quite like the terror-laced conclusion of a graphically gory as well as overwhelingly transgressive film from 2022 Unicorn Wars.

In the year 2015, this Spanish filmmaker developed a grim, somber and often savage world with a few small , desolate twinges of hope.

Although The Unicorn Wars seems like it stemmed from a drive to advance animation further, the filmmaker clarified that it was more an attempt to convey a widespread, multicultural theme regarding “the mutual source of every conflict.”

That message is communicated via a squad of colorful pastel bears , openly based on a popular line of cuddly characters.

Maturing in a society built around warmongering as well as the military-industrial complex, many of these creatures are consumed by slaughtering the mythical beasts, thanks to a holy book which states them they were once rulers of the woodland, before the unicorns forced them out.

Some have not completely accepted the brainwashing, , prefer to try out narcotics or fornicate in the woods.

In contrast to their gentle equivalents, these colorful critters have visible sexual organs , obvious libidos.

For a certain particularly cruel, cynical bear, the character Bluey, the battle with unicorns transforms into a route to control — and especially to dominance above his softer, more compassionate sibling the character Tubby.

The character is a bully and an obvious sociopath , and when horror dominates his group and kills his teammates one by one, he takes progressively power for himself, in increasingly bloody, damaging approaches.

Meanwhile, these mythical beings are experiencing their own terror, in the form of a spreading, destructive monster in their woods.

“At the beginning, it feels like a lighthearted film,” the director said. “However it evolves into a more dramatic and sorrowful movie. And by the end, it’s a scary feature.”

The Unicorn Wars commences similar to among the playful movies from a legendary filmmaker, which find a naughty glee in letting cartoon characters curse, shoot each other, or engage sexually.

Then it becomes closer to a bleaker movie from the same creator, with increasingly graphic violence , a palpable link to genuine horror of battle.

By the end, it becomes a complete theatrical horror bloodbath.

The fear that turns this a perfect Halloween movie begins well before than that description suggests.

The Unicorn Wars is suited for the devoted lovers of violence, for fans of extreme cinema who want to view a film they have not viewed until now, and are able to withstand a story that pulls no restraint.

See it in a dimly lit space without any distractions, and the finale will crawl into your mind and take up residence there.
